If you're wanting to pull around a fifth wheel trailer you're gonna need a hitch in your truck to allow to do that. And this rail kit is gonna be a great start. Hi there, Ram owners. Today on your 2011 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the B&W Fifth Wheel Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch. This installation kit is designed to let you install a B&W Fifth Wheel Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch, while also still functioning as a traditional gooseneck hitch. This allows you to get the best of both worlds and tow a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer with your truck.And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. It's installed underneath the bed so it keeps all the components underneath, so you still have full truck bed access here at the back. The only things that's going to stick up on top here is your safety chain loops, which are fairly flush down to the bottom, as well as your ball here. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the custom under bed installation kit for B&W companion fifth wheel trailer hitches on our 2015 Ram 1500.If you happen to have a fifth wheel trailer hitch and a gooseneck, B&W actually has specifically designed accessories that mount directly in the socket for your gooseneck ball. One of them would be the companion fifth wheel, and this is going to slide directly into the gooseneck and that way you'll be able to tow a fifth wheel trailer without having to get a whole lot of adapters or bolt anything onto your trailer itself.The under bed design of this kit allows for full truck bed access when you're ready, it's under five minutes to convert your empty truck bed into a fifth wheel hitch. We'll start by unlocking our B&W hitch and installing our fifth wheel adapter. We have ours preassembled, but you can adjust the uprights here depending on your truck and trailer combination.At this point, the hitch is ready to attach to the trailer. There's a little clip here that you can release. Basically it's a safety pin. more

Today on our 2014 Ram 1500, we're gonna be installing Reese's Quick Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit, with Base Rails for fifth wheel trailer hitches.This custom fit bed rail kit is gonna allow you to hook a fifth wheel assembly right into the back of your truck quickly and easily. There are multiple slots located in your rails to help it accommodate different fifth wheels. The rails can also support a pin weight of up to 4,000 pounds. That's the weight that's gonna be going down here on top of your fifth wheel.This kit is just the rail assembly itself, there is no fifth wheel included. So you can just use your existing fifth wheel and hook it right up to these rails. Curt Fifth Wheel Kit Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Today on this 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, we're going to review and install the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit; part number C16444-204. This is what the rails look like when they're installed in the bed of your Dodge pickup. In this case we installed this in a short bed pickup. With no hitch in there you still have full access to your bed and these bed rails are going to be great for when the time comes to pull your fifth wheel trailer. It does work with a wide variety of fifth wheel hitches that are out there as well as gooseneck adapters. This is a classic five bolt design and you get the five bolts that hold that cross-rail into place. On these rails, they're active weight capacity is actually limited by what your truck can actually pull. The kit does come with the rails you see on top of the truck as well as the brackets that go below the truck as well. more
